Account & Data Deletion

Google Play requires apps that support account creation to publish a clear, public way to request account and data deletion — this page exists to satisfy that requirement. Update the process below once (or if) an in-app self-service delete flow ships; Google Play prefers in-app deletion over email requests where possible.

How to request deletion

To delete your Fretla account and associated personal data, send an email to dispatch@fretla.com with the subject line "Delete My Account", from the email address associated with your account. Include your registered phone number so we can verify your identity.

We will confirm receipt within 2 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

• Your profile — name, email, phone number, and account credentials
• Saved vehicle details and documents (for Driver accounts)
• In-app messages you've sent and received
• Push notification tokens and device data
• Your wallet balance will be refunded, where applicable, before the account is closed

What we may retain

Some information can't be deleted immediately because we're legally required to keep it, or because deleting it would affect other users' records. This includes:

• Transaction and payment records, retained for [X years — confirm with your accountant] to meet tax, accounting, and anti-fraud obligations
• Records of completed shipments involving other users, kept in an anonymized or aggregated form where possible
• Information we're required to retain to comply with a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, or enforce our agreements

Anything we retain is kept solely for the purposes above and is not used for marketing or shared for any other purpose.

Deleting specific data instead of your whole account

If you'd rather delete specific information (for example, a saved vehicle or an old conversation) without closing your account entirely, mention that in your email and we'll do what we can within the limits described above.
